Sounds like the Raptors really didn't want him back but makes 0 sense to me.

Kept it classy.

No idea what the Raptors are doing. They should have fired Dwayne Casey and filled the role with someone willing to establish a ball-movement oriented offense. Not this iso-and-chuck pandemic they call an offense.

It should have been obvious when they were exposed last season by the more self-less passing team. Instead they just tied up huge money on Demarre Carroll and Cory Joseph. Not terrible players but come on, the system in which they excelled in last year maximized them to their fullest potential.

Without those systems, what can they possibly offer a team? A team who ranked towards the bottom half last season in ball-movement? Do they think they're going to come in and change the culture somehow? No. Cory Joseph is going to come in chucking off the bench without Pop and the Spurs culture reigning him in, and Carroll will probably mail it in now that's been paid and has to resort to watching chuck brothers Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan take turns shooting bricks.
