Look, you have to say it's the 2nd DUI, time to move him, that was unprofessional. No doubt there, however:
With the Carmelo trade we got back a tremendous value. Yet there somehow was this sense of "no one is ever pleased" on both sides. Take your side. Professional, unprofessional, whatever. There is a ton of production but seemingly not in the areas we want.
Lawson probably wants to feel a little more appreciation for the production level he achieved. This is a Front Office function and in that they are apparently falling short. Why else would a guy on the verge of something great throw his professionalism by the wayside? Can Ty do anything right by this Front Office?
Do some parlaying, talk about the future a little bit .......but don't just turn on the guy like he's been nothing but a scrub PG.
Ty was the untradeable player just a season ago. Probably a shock to his system that there's no fan or FO appreciation for what he put in.

Hold up, Ty has about 12 million reasons to feel loved by the Denver Nuggets right now, more if you count the total value of his contracts. When he got that DUI #1 this year I think he sat one game with pay, the same for when he skipped practice after the all-star game. He's been treated very favorably considering all his F hp's.
The Nuggets have said all the right things about Ty this off-season, Ty is the one that's dug himself a whole. Dude couldn't even bother to show up to his own kids camp here in Denver, he was too busy driving drunk down the 101.
The fact that Chandler and Nelson wanted to stay here shows a lot about the care being shown Nuggets players....players that actually care in return.
I wish him all the best and hope he gets some help but at this point him not on the team is an addition by subtraction.
