Wizards 2015-2016 Tickets

Got an email invite from the Wiz for later this week for a season ticket open house thing. I used to have full season tix until my daughter was born, then have only been going to selected games. Now that she's 8 and my wife isn't traveling for work as much, perhaps it's time to make the investment again.

Been thinking about perhaps a partial season plan. Does anyone have one? How do you like it? Do you get to choose your own games? Or do the Wiz establish set games and you just have to pick packages?

And, if anyone has a good ticket rep, perhaps posting their name and contact here would be good (i'm sure your agent would love the publicity).

I've had a 10 game package (two tickets) the last several years. (I used to have a 20 or 21 game plan.) With the 10 game plan, I got to select the games I wanted to go to. But, unlike with my previous 21 game plan (which I split with a friend), I didn't always have the same seat with the 10 game plan. I had maybe 5 games in the same seats, but the other 5 games I was moved around. I didn't like that a whole lot but it wasn't a big problem. My seats were always in the lower bowl on the curve--sections 113, 120 or 109.

I think the Wizards have stopped selling the set game plans (at least for the 10 game plan), because most customers (like myself) preferred to select their games. Again, the downside is that you are not always in the same seats. You may get to both select your games and sit in the same seats with the 20 or 21 game plan.

This year I'm splitting a full season plan with a friend. I was typically going to 3-4 games in addition to my 10 game plan, so I thought I'd take the plunge and go with 20 or 21 games.

There are other benefits that come with full season plan, including a food allowance (which I don't need since the food selection at the Verizon Ctr. is bad) and a cool photo collage of John Wall that I recently received.

For the first time in several years I cannot go to the season opener.

My tickets (sec 104 row R and almost as far around towards the side rather than the endline as possible)
are listed on NBA.com but I'd just as soon sell them to someone here.

Definitely willing to consider fair offers.

I might have to break down, turn cable back on, and buy NBA League pass.

I want to watch this year, unlike the past few where I have been ambivalent.

At the very least this is an important swing year. A lot of players are playing for contracts. Randy and in theory Ernie are not guaranteed past this season.

I like the vibe I'm getting from this year's Wizards.
