Kings officially solidify new front office

Vlade Divac is switching from Vice President of Basketball and Franchise Operations to Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager. This is really just a reason to get new business cards printed up for Vlade. He remains the decision maker on the basketball side of things.

Mike Bratz moves back to his title of Assistant General Manager. Bratz brings nearly 40 years of basketball experience as a player, coach, scout and front office executive to bear in his position, which includes scouting collegiate, professional and international talent and maintaining player databases, in addition to helping Divac oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the Kings basketball operations department.

Peja Stojakovic was officially named the Director of Player Personnel and Development as well as the general manager of the Reno Bighorns. In his new front office role, Peja will be heavily involved in scouting domestic and international talent.

Not going to lie, even though I loved Peja as a player I don't know if he has necessarily earned that role, which makes me uncomfortable

Vlade himself, although I'm not totally against his summer, didn't have enough on the resume for me to feel confident in his role

That's not to say the old early 2000s duo can't get it done, just I am not assured with it. Have to see it. Have to trust Vivek
