I would rather see Stanimal start at SG if Stan is set on Morris and Ilyasova up front, but I also like the idea of playing him with the 2nd unit and giving him more opportunities with the ball.

I never thought I'd be so happy to hear that a 35yo vet is going to be ready by the start of the season. Dinwiddie has been that bad.

This team has come out hot in every game only for the bench (Dinwiddie) to just be terrible. Stan is slowly figuring out his rotations for opening night and I think placing Erson back in the starting lineup is to see if perhaps Erson is out of his learning stage, and if johnson can handle pg duties again.

I'm still not sure what the starting lineup will be come opening night, or even who the main reserves are going to be, but if Bullock has another stellar game off the bench we can all be pretty sure Meeks is getting squeezed.

Good idea Stanley is coming off the bench. The ball needs to be out of Dinwiddie's hands and Stanley scored 26 pts handling the ball during the first game of preseason. SVG is trying out the lineups again. You can tell he's trying everything and looking for efficiency. This is what preseason is about and if you're still worried about the record, check out the rankings. A lot of good teams haven't won much. It's all about testing lineups out and gaining and mixing it up as much as possible to get a good feel for each other.

i think it's a good idea that SJ isn't starting right now, he's struggled the last few games and probably needs to be eased in slower than any of us would like.

won't be able to watch but i'll likely be asking how kaminsky looks.

Is this that same 35 year old veteran most in this forum scoffed at trading a journeyman to acquire, with some even proclaiming there was no upside or logical reason for the acquisition?

I don't know, did they? This forum has a long history of Debbie downer syndrome. I have a long history of off the tracks optimism. We clash often.

I didn't have an opinion then but is sure as hell do now; YAY FOR BLAKE!

Drummond avg 15ppg and 12.2rpg so far.
He's 4th in ppg, 1st in rpg and 6th in fg% amongst centers.

He could sniff 20 ppg in his career at least one season.. FT% probably hold him back.

I feel like he will avg 16-17 ppg and 14rpg this season. I'll definitely take that anyday. His hook shot and defense has asctually looked pretty solid so far.

Also I think we are 8th in point differential too, which is usually one of the best stats for determining if a team is legit or not. Just preseason but its better than being last in all these areas
