Vucevic experienced something that had never happened during his previous 216 games played for the Orlando Magic: A coach benched him at halftime and didn't put him back into the game. After the game, Vucevic spent at least an hour working out inside the Magic's Amway Center practice facility.

Elfrid is a young player trying to develop his game. I don't want Elfrid to ever be satisified with any sort of comparison or anything like that. I want him to be elfrid, have his own game, his own style. If other people make those comparisons that's fine, everybody's got a right to do that, it's nothing I would encourage... not because I'm not a fan of Rondo, I am. But I want Elfrid to be as good as he could possibly be.
Oladipo, now in his third pro season, has held a winning record for a grand total of 48 hours as an NBA player. On Nov. 6, 2013, the Magic beat the Los Angeles Clippers to improve to 3-2. Two days later, the Magic lost to the Boston Celtics. The Magic haven't been above .500 since. The stretch was so short-lived that Oladipo didn't even remember it when he was asked about the possibility of going above .500.
