Vomit. And I'm not a fan of Frye at all.

He's a clear upgrade and a guy who would actually participate in the game. Another bad shooter though. Anyone know his contract off hand?

This site post the most bs rumors. These were the same guys who said we were shipping Dipo and Jason Smith for Rudy Gay.

A shade under $9.5m, and he expires this year. And a clear upgrade how? He's a bad defender, and another tweener forward. His offensive abilities are ok, but we have enough "ok" guys offensively. What does he offer our team other than another log in the jam for the SG/SF/PF minutes and touches?

Frye may not be doing much, but I'd rather trade him for someone who fills a need than someone whose skillset is redundant on our team and who will bolt in 30 games time.

Its not really a trade rumor, its just a trade proposal linked from an article speculating on who would be a trade partner for Frye...nothing there.

...from a value perspective Green adds nothing at all to this roster, and clearing salary is not accurate....Green's cap hold would be far worse than Frye's salary so Magic would have to just waive and renounce him thus zero return...at very worse Magic would just flip him for low end draft picks if clearing salary were the case.

I concur. Not a really good fit in Orlando. Only positive is about 3 yrs younger than Frye and is an expiring contract. Maybe other players/picks would possibly involved as well? But another tweener would be a real head-scratcher since we are trying to clear the logjam, not pile on another log.

I like Frye and think he can excel on the right team. But, the Magic are not it and Frye with his $8 mil per salary is bordering not useful in the long term.

Magic should be happy to trade him for ANY expiring another team offers and say thank you very much.

Well... yeah, I mean Frye gives us nothing currently. So it doesn't take much to be an upgrade. Plus he expires this year. It's probably as good as we could hope for Frye.

Getting an expiring plus a pick back for Frye would be very nice indeed.

Green's cap hold would be worse than Frye's salary. The Magic would have to waive and renounce him. So basically the Magic would just give Frye to Memphis.

Hennigan can certainly get better than nothing for Frye....7' 3pt specialist have plenty of value around the league.

Ah, ok. Nevermind then.
