GT: Hornets @ Bucks Fri Feb 19 8PM EST

Post#1 » by fatlever » Thu Feb 18, 2016 5:45 pm

Hawes, Lee and of course MKG are OUT.

Jefferson is likely to play.

Rotation

PG: Kemba/Lin/Harrison
SG: Lin/Lamb/Daniels
SF: Batum/Marvin/Lamb
PF: Marvin/Frank
C: Zeller/Jefferson/Tyler

Guessing Lin starts at SG, but who knows.

I'm going to guess that Lamb gets the start.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

He couldn't practice because his physical was scheduled at the same time as his practice. I guess Cliff doesn't want him to play for us unless he's at least had one practice.

That's good. I thought it was because he was hurt

Charlotte, the only place where guys get injured during 9 days of no games.

Makes me think that maybe it's tied to a deadline deal, but why report them as injured if you are working out a deal?

Maybe they overdid it in practice after not working out at all over the break?

I would still play Lee without a practice. Lee without a single practice is still infinitely better than PJ after a week straight of being locked in a gym practicing and watching film.

Too bad. I was looking forward to seeing how the new pieces like Lee fit in.

Cliff doesn't have a starting lineup yet. Because Middleton is so much taller than Lin and it led to Middleton burning Lin last time, Lin may not start. If not, Lamb is possible. I think Cliff may go with Kemba, Batum, Marv, Frank and Cody because of size. However, Hawes isn't available, Al is just getting back so bigs better not get in foul trouble. Hawes is not available probably for the weekend Cliff said.

Cliff hasn't figured out the rotations either. Courtney will have to go through some more prep and likely play on Sunday.

Oh man, I think that would nullify both Brian Roberts trades too. Miami put all their efforts into getting under the luxury tax, can you imagine?

"Sorry Mr. Riley, apparently PJ Hairston failed his physical with Memphis so that nullifies the trade. It also means that the followup trade of Roberts to Portland is declined as well. So your tax bill stays the same. Oh, and you get the Birdman back."

Easy win. Cliff will still play Kemba 39 minutes and Nic 38 minutes.
