Olivier Vernon receieved the transition tag today. This could be pretty good news for Jax...

Miami is strapped for cash, so Jax could put together a contract that is super heavy front-loaded preventing Miami from matching. Vernon would get paid, the contract would work well for us because it wouldn't hurt us once Bortles, A-Rob, and Telvin are up for extensions, and we price out Miami.

Vernon should be our number 1 target this FA.

I was hoping they would use the transition tag or not tag him at all. This is good news.
