The US woman's hockey team plays against the best high school boys teams and usually loses when practicing for the Olympics.

Basketball the physical differences would be even more profound I think.

Only if you're a feminist.

Would be interesting to know what Men's team would be a competitive match up for the Women's champion team.

I have no idea who the best men's high school team is... with that said I also have no idea who the WNBA champions are, so...

I think the wnba champs would win. Kids are idiots. If it was an all-american team or something then I'd go the other way, but the pros would be much more cohesive and have a better ability to adapt over the course of a series

The top high school basketball team in the country will usually have at least 1 player who'll be drafted in the lottery and sometimes even 2-3 players. The high school team takes this easily.

The tallest player on the WBNA champions Minnota Lynx is 6'3". The top rated high school Chino Hills Huskies can field an entire starting lineup from 6'5" to 6'9".

The WNBA champions would get crushed. Strength and athleticism are so important in basketball and other women professionals train with and play against younger male competition because it is great practice. The current #1 HS team Chino Hills has one of the top prospects in the nation and they're being talked about as possibly the greatest HS team of all time, so I don't think it would be particularly close.

The best HS team in the nation will usually have a prospect that can play in the NBA right now. I have yet to see a WNBA player that I think can make the league. The strength, speed and athleticism just don't compare. They would have to have range like Steph Curry to even warrant a look.

The men's team would win in a landslide. This isn't a slight to the women at all, as they are terrific players. That said, the talent gap and athletic gap is simply too large.

This is the #1 high school basketball team in the country. You really think a WNBA team can hold a candle to this?

I would like to see an average full grown gorilla in a boxing match against the #1 ranked heavyweight.

I mean can you imagine a gorilla who can box, and knows the rules and everything? Wow, what a spectacle.

the men only has to be maybe the best from a city, not nation's best. full court press the women and they won't get the ball past mid court. we're talking physical mano a mano, so to speak...the physicality of a male against the physicality of a female...NO CONTEST.

if a champion female boxer faced the worst club boxer in the USA, really now, who do you expect to win
