Raptors quietly hang 2015-16 Atlantic Division Champions Banner

I didn't see a thread on this, but correct me if I'm wrong.

The Raptors hung their Atlantic Division Banner with no fanfare this season. It's already up. Focus has shifted to playoff success.

Agreed. this was a terrific decision. The goal is not the Atlantic. To be completely honest, I was at the game last night (season ticket holder, first post...hi y'all) and I didn't even notice the banner being up. I suppose they needed to hang something up quickly to replace the BON JOVI banner that mysteriously came down this season.

The 3 look good together. This was the right call this season. We have learned from the past and are trying to do things differently.

I think it would be better to have them on the side than actually hang a banner IMO. Or maybe even do something like this:

Shows how far we have come as a franchise. In past years, this would have been celebrated as an achievement worthy of a big fuss but now, it's just another day at the office. Great decision to not make a big deal about it, we have bigger goals now!

Spurs are going to be listing their championships the same way soon enough..

Great decision. And our awful logo has really grown on me, looks way better than the previous one IMO.

After KG and Allen came to Boston, that was end of any more potential division titles for Toronto.

Considering all the accolades the Spurs have they probably ran out of room for all of their banners.

Well, the first one way back in 2007 was understandable for celebration. It was an achievement.

2013-14, sure, it was the first in our new era and second overall. I'm sure Masai and the guys who endured all the losing we're proud of that and earned it.

Last year, sure I get it, the division still had merit, but we were also a team that got caught up in flashy lights and sucked at fundamentals.

This year, division no longer means anything, it's the right call paying no mind to it. It's number 4 already so it's not like it's anything new, I totally agree with the decision. We'll celebrate when we hit 10 division titles and/or our first East & NBA champ banners
