Hoyer isn't good, but a better back up than Clausen.

Still would like them to give Fales a solid look to see if he has anything in him.

no worse than mccown was before he had that one stretch for us 2 years ago

You are really underselling this guy. He's no tom Brady but he is one of the best backups in the NFL. If not the best

I don't expect him to come in and win the game but I feel comfortable he could manage a conservative power running approach.

Of course he's not Tom Brady, but for a guy to have on the bench just in case Cutler gets injured, he's a pretty good insurance policy.
