adria gasol - The other gasol brother...

Post#1 » by TKainZero » Thu May 26, 2016 5:04 pm

Last I heard about him was that he walked on at UCLA. That was 4 years ago. He has totally disappeared. I cannot find information about him being involved in organized basketball right now at ANY level.

At age 22, I believe he is automatically entered into the NBA draft.

So...
Do you think he is worth drafting with a SUPER late 2nd rounder (55-60?)
Just to retain his draft rights if he ever gets it together?
picks 55-60 have essentially a 1% success rate. (Issiah Thomas is the GOAT pick there, while Robert Sacre is also one of the best 60th picks ever)
If we say that there is only a 10% chance Adria even goes back to basketball, and then a 10% chance of even becoming a decent player, that is then the same 1% chance that the average 55-60th draft pick has of "making it"

Yea, this is so far out in left field, its not even in the stadium anymore...
Marc Gasol was taken in the 2nd round as an after-thought. (he was just some big fat kid then)
But his brothers did both start at center vs each other in the 2015 all star game...

I could totally see the spurs draft him at the end of the 2nd (as part of maybe a recruiting tool to Pau Gasol?)

Thoughts?
USA Celtics in full effect. Amazing chemistry building experience right there for the main core of the team

Proceeds to finish 7th and shames the entire nation!

Adria Gasol has never really played seriously ever, he is not draftable even if the draft had 7 rounds

I am showing you his 2007 stats also, as a member of Girona playing ACB, much stronger than as of today actually, he averaged 17-10 per 36 min, he was not fat at all back in 2007, you just put a picture of 17-18 year old Marc Gasol and not of him when he was 22 and drafted

but sure man

He is a massive bum, you just know about him because his name is Gasol, nothing more.
