Can't say i would be all that upset to see him go however i would be shocked if we did not resign him just from a PR standpoint.

Clarkson like other free agents have decided to not meet with the Lakers. :lol:

Trade Clarkson for Jahlil Okafor or Nerlens Noel. Get it done, Mitch. :lol:

god i would love this deal so much, i don't dislike Clarkson, but he reminds me a little too much of Monta Ellis (ironically both 2nd round picks?). Would be nice to see what he looks like in Luke's ball movement system, but if this was a possible deal, it would be a steal.

4 years 56-58 mil for a SG who doesnt play D and posting avg offensive scoring ability just isnt very attractive as especially as he's an 2nd year 25 year old player and not someone younger who will have more upside. Not to mention opposing teams hve to deal with the restricted situation and JC just isnt good enough to tie up significant cap at the risk of being matched by an obviously desperate Laker FO.

I dont mind the Lakers keeping Clarkson, especially as a bench spark plug, but he screams role player to me and should get a Lou Williams level contract (10 mil in the new cap) at best.

Lakers will match... Huertas and Black will be interesting to watch but Clarkson isn't going anywhere
