What is Richardson's ceiling?
How good can this kid be? Looks like he has Superstar written all over him. Maybe it's just my homer goggles talk but I think he has the potential to be great.

Re: What is Richardson's ceiling?
That's what's so great about him, we can't honestly determine his ceiling. This season should answer that question.

Re: What is Richardson's ceiling?
If he got a better handle and learned to create for himself, I could see him as a 15-18 pt player (Playing starter minutes) but realistically I would say 12-15
Hopefully he's a better rebounder than he has shown
He's got some star athleticism and can shoot but not necessarily very skilled, yes about the homer goggles thing and yes some potential for something-- Great, being subjective

Ray Allen, IMO. His playmaking and ball handling has gotten better in the summer league, and he's an excellent shooter as it is. It's difficult to exactly pinpoint, but he definitely has star potential.

He sure developed a solid 3 point **** quickly so that wouldn't sound so far fetched.

Richardson is on another level as an athlete, and he's more comfortable shooting off the dribble.

If you believe JRich will be better than Klay, then we got ourselves a superstar. Hope you are right!

Doesn't this describe him now though? He already played at that level this season, in only half a season of real PT no less. So that means 12-15 is basically his floor (IMO), not his ceiling.
I personally think his ceiling (i.e prime) is as a 20+ scorer given the opportunity. He certainly has the basketball IQ, toughness, talent, and drive to get there.

Re: What is Richardson's ceiling?
I honestly believe he will reach another level this season. We saw it last year. His shooting is there, he is athletic, plays defense.
He just needs better play making and ball handling.
His ceiling is not 12-15 points per game in my opinion, as he could have done that this year if he played the same way he did in the 2nd half all year. He can hit 3-4 3's a game and get buckets here and there.
He needs to bulk up though, I think he can be a relentless type player, he has the drive. I'm honestly more excited about him than Justise. Justise needs to work on his shot BADLY.

This.
Most of us are overrating him. He's not 19YO. He's going to improve, but doesn't have top star potential. Never will be a first option of even second on a great team. Definitely not superstar or even multiple all-star. Maybe, just maybe, he could have a couple of all-star seasons.
Still, can be very good player, key contributor as a 2 way guard that does it all.
Eddie Jones is a very good compression IMO. Very good player, made 3 all-stars games, was never a true bonafide star.

I agree with this. I don't expect him to shoot 46% from 3 again next season, especially if he goes from a 20 minute a game guy to a 35 minute per game guy. And if he goes from shooting 2 3's per game to 4 3's per game.
What he is an athletic guy with size to play either wing position and a good to very good jump shot. Weather he average 12 points or 18 points doesn't matter. I don't see him ever being a guy that is the focal point of your offense. Rather a great complimentary piece.
For what it's worth, he's a much better fit next to Dragic than Wade was.
