KCP, Stanley and Ellenson for Middleton??

Khris Middleton. 6-8, 234lbs. 24 yrs old. 20 highest real plus minus ranking in the league this season (10th highest the previous season). 40% 3-pt shooter last season, and for his career. Under contract for 3 more seasons at a very reasonable 14M/per.

Fact is, KCP's never going to shoot the long ball well enough to be a great 2-guard here. Stanley probably won't either (and how much better is he than Bullock, really?). Ellenson we really probably don't even need with Leur here.

I'd do it. Then I'd go hard after Gordon Hayward in the offseason.

C: Drummond - - - Boban / Leur
PF: Tobias - - - Morris / Leur
SF: Hayward - - - Morris / Bullock
SG: Middleton - - - Morris / Bullock
PG: Reggie - - - Ish

We really aren't in a need to make any trades unless its for a superstar and even then id be careful giving up too much. Our roster is set right now with good players at every position no need to do a trade just to do a trade. And this trade is the worst ive ever seen, you want us to trade 3 all star potential players for one?

We wouldn't have the money for Hayward. We'd be capped out. Hell, I don't think your trade works - didn't Middleton get PAID last off-season? KCP, Stanley and Ellenson are on their rookie deals and would make around $8M combined.

Would consider KCP and Ellenson... Only because Middleton is under contract until 2020 for $14 million/year (Allen Crabbe makes $18.8 million/year... We'll have to pay KCP even more). I love our current combination of talent though. Wouldn't be looking to make a single trade at this point. Let the other GMs make offers.

I think a lot of that surprise shine will wear off with Middleton soon enough, I like him as a player through.

I think two of those guys are worth a Middleton (right now...but that could change soon if KCP/SJ improve like we all think) but not three...It doesn't work under the cap anyway.
