As some of you may know, I was at Las Vegas Summer League this week and had a chance to talk to a lot of people. Unlike Orlando, where you could get a lot of time to chat, Vegas is a little more controlled. I was still able to get a few things from each team. Las Vegas Summer League Notes
DLO or Zubac didn't make 1st or 2nd team all summer league. I know it doesn't mean much but come on man lol. And Simmons made 1st team even though he missed a few game due to getting "rest".

Its a joke but I hope both Russell and Zubac use this snub as motivation next season.
Besides, Russell's busy with the Select Team at the moment so he shouldn't be too upset about some stupid Summer League award.

Re: Las Vegas Summer League Notes
Thanks for the notes.
I was pretty pleased overall with our games. Sorta sad to see us take a U-turn in the Cleveland game, and watch it all fall apart. But I will warn people, that that's pretty much what you can expect from a young team. 2 steps forward, 1 step back. We should have an over-under on how many times the phrase "have they turned the corner" get used this season.
Your gonna see us win 3 straight impressive road games...really look like we turned the corner (that's 1) and then go home and lose back to back against the Suns and Utah...looking completely lost. That's how it goes.
Really my biggest upset in the whole thing was watching Nance practically kill himself on an already decided game. The kid's heart is in the right place, but if he wants to have a real career....he's gonna need to play smarter. The guy was tearing it up too.
Personally....I make Zubac our starter next season. F**k it. The kid can play....we're young all over the place anyhow. Yeah...Deng and Mozgov bring some veteran stability...but it's not like we're chasing the 45ish games needed for the playoffs. But maybe that's just me. I was just really happy with his play. I know...summer league and all. But man...he already has some polish to his game. Attacking/shooting from both sides. Great presence down there....it was cool.
