Hey all,
I know there is an Olympics forum, but this isn't necessarily about the games but the players, so here we go:
I wrote a preview from an NBA POV for RealGM. Check it out to learn a little about some of the guys who have an NBA connection before the games start today:

Team USA is not covered, since anyone reading RealGM will know those players. And Venezuela is not covered because they do not have a current or former NBA player, nor anyone team's hold Draft Rights on.
Enjoy!

Re: Olympics Preview from NBA Perspective
It is really a shame for Serbia neither Nemanja Bjelica nor Boban Marjanović are playing, they could have had a very formidable squad this year.
I kind of wish there was a designated thread on this specific board for the Olympics instead of the Olympics board because I cannot be bothered to go back and forth, but that gripe aside, good write-up Smitty, I'll have to finish reading it all a bit later.
FWIW, here is Ricky Rubio in a friendly match against Côte d’Ivoire.
