So the iPhone 7 did not bring us the double-sided wrap-around screen (or sweet edges like Samsung), but Apple is taking off the headphone jack??

This is the forward progress I'm looking for!

I don't understand why they would take off the headphone jack. That means people will need to use a separate device for listening to music...

I work in the cell phone industry and it is crazy to me how Apple gets away with claiming to recreate the wheel when other manufacturers have done it years before and better.

The 3.5 mm headphone jack is to be replaced by lightning connectable headphones. They do provide an adapter from 3.5 to lightning in the box but the problem is when you want to listen to music and charge your phone you cant do it at the same time anymore.

How often are you listening to music through your headphones while your phones on the charger? The only time I ever have is in the car while my aux cord is plugged in but my car has Bluetooth now.

Personally I use bluetooth headphones but I can see someone sitting at their desk charging their phone and listening to music with headphones.

That is what every Iphone user says every year. Be carefully the phone isn't actually waterproof just water resistant. With IP67 resistance it can be submerged for up to 3 feet for up to 30 mins. BTW my Samsung Galaxy S5 had the same technology 3 years ago.

6 months ago I was considering waiting to buy iphone 7, but I thought it wouldnt be worth the wait so I bought the LG V10. Looks like I was right LG V10 is still better than this new iPhone.

You're not really supposed to use your phone and charge it at the same time.

There's nothing unprecedented with apple's products but they've been able to capitalize on the personalization of computers. It has a specific clean look. Those ingredients attract customers.

I still like apple a lot but I have my reservations. I think the problem, that I have with apple is how they created the iMac in order to be more affordable and convenient...Since "Captain Cook" took over, it's become a faux luxury item. I don't mind paying a little more for a new product but iPhone 7 Plus is flirting with $1000 for decent memory, which is the cost apple charges for a laptop just a few years ago.

I guess, someone has to pay for the lawsuit in Ireland?

My Note 7 works great and I am extremely satisfied. The recall is blown out of proportion. No pun intended lol. There were 25 cases out of 1 faulty batch not much to worry about. Note beats the I7 in every category expect for having a 7mp front facing.
