Ranking teams/best player

Post#1 » by flow » Mon Oct 17, 2016 7:12 pm

Foxsports recently published an interesting piece ranking each team's best player / ranking teams based on their best player. Here are their results:

1. Lebron - Cavs
2. Durant - Warriors
3. Leonard - Spurs
4. CP3 - Clippers
5. Westbrook - Thunder
6. Harden - Rockets
7. George - Pacers
8. Horford - Celtics
9. Towns - Twolves
10. Davis - Pelicans
11. Cousins - Kings
12. Butler - Bulls
13. Millsap - Hawks
14. Lowry - Raptors
15. Wall - Wizards
16. Lillard - Blazers
17. Dirk - Mavs
18. Melo - Knicks
19. Conley - Grizz
20. Hayward - Jazz
21. Batum - Hornets
22. Drummond - Pistons
23. Whiteside - Heat
24. Bledsoe - Suns
25. Ibaka - Magic
26. Giannis - Bucks
27. B. Lopez - Nets
28. Gallinari - Nuggets
29. Noel - Sixers
30. Mozgov - Lakers

I may have named Harris over Drummond, but the ranking's about right. Surprised to see Batum over Walker.

The Lakers are last with Mozgov lol. Yeah but Drummonds our best player but he's not a #1 option player so I agree with that.

Al Horford is the 8th best best player? That's ridiculous, and I like Al.

Durant isn't better than Curry, either.

Lol at the shade at Curry, he's the reigning MVP and has a ring. He's their best player even with Durant.

But Drummond as our best player makes sense, even though he'll never be our #1 option...and for good reason since he's not very good offensively.

I hope Curry plays angry this year. He was hurt, and leauge suspend Green for nothing. He is easily the best player for two years.

I don't understand. Do we not think Drummond is a top 15 player in the league? Top 20?

He's better than many of those players ahead of him.

Drummond is without question the Pistons best player and he is climbing his way up the ladder in terms of top lists in the league.

I think if Andre hit at least 50% of his free throws his rank would be inside of top ten.

You dont anchor a team with Harris, or Jackson, you anchor it with big Andre. pay no mind to this whatsoever.

If a player with as limited a game as Andre was 'without question' the best player on his team, that team wouldn't get very far.
