THANK YOU for Justin "The Fireman" Holiday

Post#1 » by IllmaticHandler » Sun Oct 30, 2016 7:46 pm

Dudes Defense is the TRUTH. Very Few players in the NBA take Defense as serious as him. This cat was going to war with Marc Gasol like he is 7ft tall. He can score in Multiple ways and has a good handle.

we had to give you something in return for Lopez

Yes, we loved him. Fortunately for us, the Bulls were able to steal MCW from the Bucks for a chicken sandwich, to help fill the Holiday void.

Let me tell you, I was way more upset we traded Holiday than Rose. But hopefully its a win-win for both franchises.

At first, when the Bulls traded Kirk for Holiday, we thought it was just a money move. It quickly became evident that Holiday had talent and that it was a good move.

Definitely hated to see him go. Good role player who just knows how to play. Can even step into the starting lineup when injuries hit and provide some offense along with his good defense.

Losing Holiday's and Etwaun Moore's defense on the perimeter was a big loss for this team. I didn't like losing both, but now with the MCW trade, it doesn't seem as bad.

this is the way i looked at it, yes i would have kept him if given a chance, but did we really have minutes for justin? and the minutes we did have to offer id rather give to Doug, valentine and now MCW.

Seems like a solid player, glad he found a fit in NY.

How is Eddy doing this season?

He was a fan favorite and really surprised us. The only downside to an otherwise fantastic trade.

Yeah my Knicks buddies are loving all 3 ex Bulls. Holliday is my favorite kind of player, those 12mpg types who just go all out every play.

If the Bulls play the Knicks in the playoffs, my brain is going to explode, trying to decide whether to blow many hundreds of dollars going to MSG, especially as I have zero friends out here who would also be rooting for the Bulls. Probably just watch from home lol

RoLo is awesome. I knew you guys would love him.

I've suspected the Rose trade was almost more about courting Noah than getting Rose. Whether that was a good idea or not remains to be seen but he's playing well for us so far. Holiday has been a great inclusion.

Next week's Knicks/Bulls game is gonna be lit.

I think it was a good trade for both sides. I hope Holiday takes over the starting SG spot. Lee, IMO, is overhyped.

As for Rose, sure he's mediocre now, but his mediocrity is better than the crap toast that NY'ers have been served for a long time. I know Noah will fit perfectly too, once he does his usual "get in shape during the season" thing.

Put me in the boat that thought Just Holiday was the biggest loss of that trade.
