Hats off to Det. I felt like we did a pretty good job of making them take contested mid-range jumpers throughout the 4th (besides faried on Drummond). They just knocked em down.

Contested jumpers against much shorter players. In the NBA those shots are going in.

Anyhow, I'm glad we lost another game because of small ball. The more we lose, the faster adjustments will be made so that we will never see it again.

Morris was hitting them on faried. They're about the same size.

This love affair that Malone has with Faried playing at center all the time has to end, our 2 most talented young players are at center and they are struggling to see the court while we get ripped to shreds in the middle every 4th quarter.

True but he did the same last year, more or less. How many times did he play a lineup with Mudiay, Foye, and Nelson/Augustin at the same time? The tallest of those is 6'5". Faried average 25 mpg and nobody taller than him averaged more than 22 mpg. He does not like his big men. He prefers small. Hickson started last year at center and he's 6'9".

Plus Mudiay average 32+ mpg last year while this year's #7 rookie is averaging less than 20 mpg and the other two rookies are averaging 12 & 7. From what I can see, based on the few minutes they have gotten; this year's rookies are looking better than Mudiay did last year and even somewhat this year. Allowing that PG is harder to master, Murray is still showing better instincts for involving other players.

Also, we've already seen Chandler miss a couple of games and with Gallinari and Chandler both having injuries every year, it would make sense to limit their minutes a little but they are both averaging over 30 mpg with Gallinari leading the team in minutes.

Malone seems to have his favorites and he doesn't waver much.
