Salary and Roster Information

Post#1 » by Smitty731 » Thu Nov 24, 2016 4:38 am

Hi all!

I've seen a lot of questions around the forums like: "What does our cap situation look like?" or "What FAs are available this summer?" and the like.

Below is a link that will take you to my NBA Salary and Roster Sheets. It has information galore. Hopefully all you could want and more. That document gets updated at least once a week as transactions happen. Please give it a look and hopefully it will be a good resource for you going forward! And don't hesitate to share!

Thanks!

Smitty

PS: Full disclosure: there is a post stickied on the General Board and Trades & Transaction forums with this same information. But I know a lot of people just stick to the team forums, so I wanted to share here as well.

Wow, nice work.

I'm getting closer and closer to believing we'll retain Tarik, Huertas, etc and waiting until 2018 to make some moves.

At that point, if you want to stretch Deng, it makes more sense and is less of a hit. It would still be a hit though. At that point, however, Williams/Young will be up. Could have a ton of space.

Questions I have regarding the cap and maybe you could me with it.

Maybe you can give us a little more clarity into our 2018 space if you have available? When would a Randle extension kick in?

If we were to stretch Deng in 2018 -- 2 years after signing his initial deal, what would the ramifications be?

Thanks! And awesome work.

I think we could see a different squad by the time 18 rolls around. No pick this year and a desire to get better fast. This is a recipe for some trades of our assets over waiting for cap space. Especially after our recent whiffs in attracting FA's. I'm not sure a bunch of fun to watch on offense kids is going to attract a top flight 8 year vet looking for a championship run. Especially in this day of "super team" mentality by the top players. I think we will get closer faster looking for trades personally.
