Rondo's revenge game. Back to back triple double?

No Wade and Jimmy played 42m tonight with a back to back travel, so he'll have a down game for sure. I'm thinking he'll go for 40.

Well with Wade out losing this game IS a possibility. Jimmy can't do this all by himself on the offensive end. We need Taj, Rondo and Lopez to have solid games. Other than Canaan I'm not sure who on the bench can contribute. Portis? Grant? Valentine? I'v lost all faith in Niko as an offensive option but maybe if can at least make a couple of his bombs.

This is the one I've been looking forward to the most. Last year Rondo got booed so hard, every time he touched the ball, and he kicked their ass. He played his best game of the year, on both ends, riled the crowd up even more when leaving the court and dropped an f-bomb on live TV in post-game interview.

I don't know if he'll be as motivated as last year because Mavs are trash and last year they were better than the Kings, it was his first time playing back in Dallas and he wanted to prove a point.

I think he'll be decent tho.

Probably won't happen, but would love to see Valentine get the starting nod / play some meaningful minutes with Wade out, rather than starting Niko at the 3. If there's a game to test things out, this would be it.

No Barea, no Dirk, no Curry. No reason why this shouldn't be a win.

I was also going to say this. Start Valentine and leave Niko and Canaan on the bench for the chance of some kind of production.

I have a bad feeling about this game. Carlisle is capable of running circles around Hoiberg when it comes to basketball strategy. He will throw the kitchen sink at you, so they have to be ready.

I'm especially hoping for the 3rd one. I think Taj played 40 minutes last night...out of his mind...from a guy who usually plays 25-28. Niko needs to be able to take on some load against a weak team. If all goes well Taj should be able to stay at around 20 minutes tonight.

Or if nothing else, if Niko gets the start (I doubt it) pull Taj early. Taj is the guy (other than Wade of course) I am most worried about after him playing such heavy minutes last night.
