GT: Raptors vs. Spurs

Post#1 » by Nolan » Tue Jan 3, 2017 2:58 pm

When: 6:30 PM MT, Jan 3rd 2017
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio TX

Should be a good one tonight. The Raptors have been excellent so far this year but we do matchup well with them.

We need a healthy Kawhi and a good game from LMA to win this one.

Go Spurs!!

TP was great last night. If he plays like that in the playoffs, we may have some hope to beat anyone in the playoffs. Aldridge pretty much destroyed anyone TOR had on him and Leonard was red hot from deep.

It was also great to watch some young fellows able to play 6+ minutes in 4Q. Murray showed some great defensive instincts, even though his offense was shaky. Bertans is slowly getting back on track after the MIL incident. He is still in Pop's doghouse though.
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

Great win. Everyone played great and we took advantage of a tired looking team and stomped them.

Tony schooled Lowry and looked 5 years younger, Kawhi didn't force anything and scored at will, and LMA just overpowered whoever the Raps threw at him.

Agree with you on both Bertans and Murray. Hopefully those last few minutes get Bertans back into the rotation, that rundown block was pretty amazing.

As for Murray he was a little shaky with the ball but he did make a couple slick moves and like you said he showed some great promise on the defensive end.
