Faried Compares London Crowd & Denver Crowd

Post#1 » by NuggetsWY » Mon Jan 16, 2017 6:00 pm

Summarized: Faried says he was motivated by the fans. We don't have fans that pack arenas like all the top teams do. He said that when they have fans cheering, they put out like that.

Direct quote: "We are a good team and we do deserve to have people come to our games - at home."

A team that is the worst defense in the league has no right to say "We are a good team". IMO
A team that was 2-8 in the 10 games prior to the London game has no right to say "We are a good team". IMO
A team that is now 15-23 with that win has no right to say "We are a good team". IMO
In a league where 16 our of 30 teams make the playoffs, a team that has the 9th worst record has no right to say "We are a good team". IMO

But that's just my opinion. What does everyone else say? Are the Nuggets a good team? Or did Faried just vault to the top of the "trade now" list?

I find the players and the coaches bitching about fans very distasteful, Malone did the same thing last year, and it annoys me. You cannot complain about lack of fan attendance when you do not win games, and often do not put full effort into the games.

I tweet back and forth with Jeff Morton all the time on this topic. Players get paid to play the game, fans have to pay to see the game. I don't think the onus is on the fans to fix how bad things have gotten at the Pepsi Center.

Congrats for winning one game in London guys, congrats for losing the 5 prior to that as well.

Faried bashes the DEN fans again, win more and you'll see the fans come back. The last two games have been really fun to watch.

I've always liked him and sorta' defended him until this year. With all the money he gets paid, he shouldn't need fans or coaches to motivate him. If he keeps going, he'll have 2 years left after this one and he'll be out of the league. His value is dwindling with his attitude - benched first or attitude first? I don't know. Playing center is not good for him either, but not much he can do about that. He's becoming a Hickson clone IMO (stat greedy).

Faried is definitely more talented than JJ was.
