Standings

How it works

Refs did us dirty early but probably the right result after the late game officiating.

+3 Chandler: Perfect from the field, 22 points, 17 rebounds. Great all around game, just wish we could get out to contest one of the many mid-range shots Dieng got at the elbow against us.
+2 Len: Double double in pretty limited minutes, played solid defense when he was out there besides a couple of bad rotations.
+1 Booker: Shot some bad, tough shots a lot of the night but had a lot of very good passes that ended in missed layups or fouls that won't show up on the stat sheet. Should have tried riding him more at the end, but they were sending hard doubles at him the second he caught the ball so there wasn't much we could do about it.

-1 Warren: Missed a lot of his usual shots, couldn't stop Shabazz from killing us in the first half, and didn't do very good job on Wiggins either.
-1 Knight: Statistically it wasn't too bad of a game for him, but even my girlfriend that isn't particularly knowledgable on basketball commented on how he never looked in control and needed to move the ball more, so that's kind of saying something lol.
-2 Bledsoe: Settled for step back, fade away jump shots far too often. I don't mind him not attacking recklessly, but when he gets mismatches he needs to take advantage instead of pulling up for deep shots when they sag off a little.
-2 Chriss: Couldn't stay on the court all night because of fouls, and we needed him to at least be out there on the court with Bender not playing tonight. Tough matchup for him though, KAT is so big, smooth, and shifty that it's no surprise Chriss couldn't defend without fouling.

+3,2,1 = Chandler, Booker, Len

-6 Bill Spooner - for that absurd blown call in the first half that killed our momentum (we were in the process of blowing them out) and began a 17-3 run for the Wolves. The players and coaches can't blame that call for our loss but it made us have to win the same game twice and that's always a bitch. Especially when it's the first game back from an Eastern road trip.

I wanted to see if someone mentioned that. We were up by 11 or so, and then it seemed like a call to help the Wolves out. And well... it did. Definitely killed our momentum.

I don't think it was intentional at all but the guy didn't do his job. That was his area and he simply wasn't paying attention. If nothing else he should have noticed that EVERY SINGLE PLAYER was walking the other way. Had he been looking at the ball he couldn't have possibly missed that call but he fell asleep and we paid for it. And like I said, they went on something like a 17 - 3 run after it. One call is still just one call but when it stops momentum like that, it can be a killer.

+2 Tyson
+2 Tucker
+2 Booker

Want to give shout outs to Len and Warren though. Warren's lobotomy is still in effect, but he did the best job on Wiggins tonight. And Len was the only player who defended Towns well.

... This one hurt. Those of us who wanted to make a run for the playoffs had the wind knocked out of our sails a bit tonight. :(

Booker had a nice 4th Quarter but shot pretty poorly the first 3 quarters even though he did have a couple of nice assists.
