I'm cool with the resigning of Toney Douglas as he was a great help in his first tour with the Grizzlies when MC11 went down early on. As for the waiving of Troy Williams, not so cool with it. He played well during the first two months of the season while a 1/4 of the roster was on the mend. I wish him well and that he'll find a spot with a team and play his career out from there.

Good Luck Troy!

Disappointed as well with Troy Williams being let go as he had above average athleticism. His issue could be attitude related as per the report from the "Chris Vernon Show Podcast" he was recently not getting a lot of playing time with the Iowa Energy, which is a Red Flag given the Grizzlies have the player development guy as the interim coach. The issue of his contract and not being under much control as other rookies, coupled with the outlook of little to no playing time when everyone is healthy. Next season the CBA allows for two players on your D-League roster that are free from acquisition by another club. I hope Troy Williams has one of those spots.
