Huh...I feel like Orlando would have to add a bit more to this..
Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Orlando is due for a W. Don't mess this up for them.

If that's the price, I think Sacramento should go after him. Start with Collison who is better than Augustin. Maybe Casspi or Barnes on top of that. Kings get a locked in PG that they won't have to worry about getting in FA especially if we lose our pick in the PG loaded draft.

Have Magic fans given up on Hezonja enough to consider adding him to the deal? Maybe ORL adds Hezonja, Detroit adds a separate, minor asset like Gbinije, Hilliard or a 2nd.

Van Gundy is getting way to trigger happy. This seems terrible for the pistons unless there is more involved

Please. Show him just how worthless he is.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Collison is a FA though. Augustin is locked in for a few more years on a decent contract. (Roughly new MLE money)

Re: [Stein] Pistons and Magic have discussed Jackson for Augustin/Green
To start the season folks were saying this DET group had a great young core and should be a lock for a top 4 seeding. Now they might break it up and miss the playoffs.
That's why they play the games.
On the deal, I think DET is selling way too low

True, but is Detroit looking at Augustin as a long term option? Maybe off the bench but who would they start? At least Collison would come in and be able to start and they could look to resign him. Being an expiring does it make it difficult but Collison is the better player for sure.

Augustin has always played well when he started and struggled off the bench. Don't know why, but he's a better stopgap starter than backup.

Augustin was awesome when we started him under SVG but terrible as a bench player.

Re: [Stein] Pistons and Magic have discussed Jackson for Augustin/Green
What does "discussed" mean?
Orl - "What would we have to add to Augustine+Green to get Jackson?"
Det - "Your first this year."
Orl - "We can't do that."
Det - "What about Gordon?"
Orl - "We can't do that either."
Det - "Okay... well... then... I guess... bye?"
Orl - "Bye, see you New Orleans!"

From the sound of it, I don't think Detroit has a problem starting Ish. Augustin would be a fine backup if that's the case. They've been really high on an offense that has more flow to it, so I'd love for them to ultimately somehow end up with Rubio though.

Ignoring my personal feelings on Reggie, there's no way Orlando should balk at hezonja for Jackson. RJ was near all star level last year, hezonja has made ben mclemore look like ray Allen.

I'd do this deal 1000x before what Stein is saying. Make it Casspi instead of Barnes.
