Vince Carter vs. Some Young Punks

Post#1 » by ItsThatEasy » Wed Mar 1, 2017 4:31 am

Right or wrong I think it's cool to see Vince giving the young guys a little trouble, especially with the smirk after he shoves Booker.

You can tell he has no malice just wants to challenge a talented young player a bit, I bet he actually likes and respects Booker's talent.

Also, just realized Carter is legit old enough to be Booker and Marquese Chriss' father, which makes me feel old as hell.

He realized real quick he didn't want any of those "grown man strength" problems.

Booker seems like a punk lol..he always keep holding on to the guy after the whistle and, just like what he did with Middleton last game and thats why he always gets into fights like these. But hes gonna a future star in the league

Can't believe how long Vince stuck around. I thought after that sharp drop off from leaving the Nets, he'd be gone in a year or two but he's somehow managed to play for 8 more years.

Maybe they should just quit on their team the way Vince did back in the day.

Yeah Booker is a big time trash talker, loves to get under your skin. I remember the dude was getting into it with players even in summer league lol. I can't imagine what he's going to be like if/when he's a full on superstar level player.

Pretty sure they won't bring up that year in the middle of his prime where he averaged 15 points a game and refused to go inside the 3 point line on either end on his hall of fame plaque.

I'm saying it's a strategy for them. Rather than building something where you are, you should just stop trying until your franchise trades you for nothing to a better situation.

Devin Booker is soft but likes to act like he's tough.

He's been constantly "getting into it" with players this year but never actually does anything other than say some words while smiling and backing up.

Such a punk. Deserved to get put in place by the old man.

Probably just a young, competitive man getting frustrated by all the losses.
