Fun NBA Playoff Pool coming soon

Hey guys!

I'm part of a pool that will be run during the NBA Playoffs this year and looking to see if anyone else would be interested in joining.

Simple format, basically players are divided into different tiers, and you're to select 2 players from each tier and have them accumulate fantasy points for you throughout the entire playoffs.

Select 2 players per tier. Tiers will be divided into colored chips...
ex:
Blue chips = LBJ, Durant, Curry, Westbrook
Green chips = IT, Giannis, Paul George, Griffin
Yellow chips = Horford, Shumpert, Pachulia
Orange chips = role players on early exit teams
Red chips = Bench warmers

So you'll select 2 players per tier, totaling 10 players for your team. You cannot select more than 2 players from the same team, so it makes it a bit of a cool puzzle to try and figure out. You'll have to decide if potentially 6 games of Giannis is worth more than 10 games of Isaiah Thomas.

Fantasy points accumulate throughout the entire playoffs and whoever finishes with the most points total from the whole pool takes home the winning pot. Prizes most likely will be given out to the top 5 places, prize amount varying depending on the number of entries there are. This will be hosted on a website that will likely be updated fully by each quarter of halftime of games.

It gives you a vested interest in players of teams that arent just from your hometown. And given the nature of basketball and how quickly the stats can get racked up...partnered with the nba playoffs being on almost every night for a couple of months...its going to make for a really fun pool!

Very simple, little maintenance, and lots of strategizing. In a nutshell, you pick 2 players from each of the 5 color chip denominations. These 10 players will be yours for the entirety of the playoffs for however many games they play and will accrue fantasy points for all of the usual scoring categories: Points(1.0FP), Rebounds(1.25FP) Assists(1.5FP), Steals(1.75FP), Blocks(2.0FP), and Turnovers(-1.0). This'll be the last pool that I roll out other than golf until football season rolls around so if you're looking for something to help make the NBA playoffs a bit more intriguing this year feel free to hop in!
