Rules

- Once the clock starts each manager will have a maximum of 2 hours to make their pick. (NOTE: The clock stops at midnight to 9 AM EDT.)

- After you make your pick, please quote or PM the person after you in the order to let them know it's their turn.

- We are using a modified snake draft order: ABBABABA

- All FGA and other relevant stats will be taken from basketball-reference.com. The FGA limit is 90.

- If you don't think you'll be around when it's your pick, please PM a shortlist to myself or any other participant.

- Please post draft picks only in this thread. If you want to hype up your pick and/or quote the next person please do everything in one post. Another thread will be started for general discussion.

- Any player who played a game between the 1969-70 season and the 2016-17 season is eligible. All seasons chosen for your players must be either from the same season or seasons within exact 10-year intervals of each other. For example, if you go with 1999-00 Shaq, you other 7 player seasons must be either from 1999-00, or any other qualifying season within a 10-year interval (1969-70, 1979-80, 1989-90, 2009-10).

- Each player you select must have played at least 2/3 of the season selected. That works out to 55 games for a regular 82-game season, 33 games for the lockout-shortened 1998-99 season, and 44 games for the lockout-shortened 2011-12 season.

- Each player on your roster must play at least 8 minutes in playoff matchups.

I've waffled on this a few times, but gimme The Kid.

He was the star player on the first the first (and second to last ) team I have built to win one of these games. He gives me a lot of options moving forward and is a big man who fits the modern game like a glove.

Not sure if this guy is the best player available, but I've never had him before and he gives a bit more flexibility than the other guys I considered.
