BATTLE AT DL

Post#1 » by 49er4life1979 » Mon Aug 7, 2017 2:06 pm

I just wanted to get your guys opinion on how you see the DL battle going and what the starters and rotation would look like. As of now per ESPN deph chart they have:
LDE - Tank Carradine / Solomon Thomas/ Ronald Blair
LDT- Earl Mitchell / Quinton Dial/ Chris Jones
RDT - DeForest Buckner / Quinton Dial / DJ Jones
RDE - Arik Armstead / Aaron Lynch / Pita Taumoepenu

- I am surprised Tank is atop the chart. But I am sure that when its all over, Solomon will start at LE but I am sure will be used all over. I hate to see Tank on the roster anymore lol. We have young guys with potential that need to play. Blair is another guy with versatility who can rush the passer. I see Chris Jones getting cut, and I am not sure about Dial. Decent 3-4 DE but that's about it. We already signed Mitchell and drafted DJ Jones. So I think Dial is expendable.

Tank started with the most reps since Solomon was still in school....

When the offseason is over I expect Solomon to start off the bat but I wouldn't be surprised if they felt to hold him a week or two.....

Apparently, it's Blair who is looking like on the bubble... very surprised to read that(if i read it correctly)

Lynch looking like the best fit at LEO.

Armstead looking worthless. :banghead: Shane Ray would be nice right about now.
