By his second season, it was pretty clear that he was a guy who was just putting up inefficient stats, basically shoots as many FGA as he scored points, a lot of turnovers, couldn't shoot, didn't even defend well. The only reason one says that is if they just see tall PG who puts up a pretty looking combination of pts/rebs/ast. He definitely didn't have the vision or instincts Kidd had, not even close.

Here's a breakdown of that Game 2 performance from Russell Westbrook. Remember this is back when people were adamant about Westbrook becoming a pure point guard and deferring to Kevin Durant. This game he finished with 27 points on 26 shots compared to Durant's 32 points on 22 shots. Game 2 is the quintessential bad Westbrook game where he chucks bad shots and doesn't get the ball to open teammates enough. Back in 2012, people didn't have the appetite to stomach those kinds of performances from Westbrook we let slide now.

Meh i see nothing wrong with my statement. Still has terrible shot selection, still inefficient , still shoots too much. I guess his passing is better. His defense is much worse.
