Questions for the upcoming season:

1: How much will he play? Will he play at all?
2: Given OKC's forward issues, do you think he can contribute something?
3: Why do he and Fred Katz have a blood feud?
4: Chances he's traded?

and any others you want to add

1. Still never except garbage time.

2. I'd personally try it but I'm assuming they see something, so I guess not?

3. I think it's the most wonderful twitter bromance there is, though Steven's coming for him.

Spoiler:
Read on Twitter

4. Literally no clue. He's likely salary filler, that's about all I see. Seems like a great smart kid, but don't think he ever really sees the court.

1) Not enough.
2) Yes, at both SF and PF.
3) Huestis is a Hatfield and Katz is a McCoy.
4) Very low. They are already in the tax and I don't see them adding significant salary to want to use him to balance salary. If he gets some early playing time and performs he might be part of a package for a veteran if Presti/Donovan don't trust him with playoff minutes.

I didn't realize he was a first round pick. I thought he was a second round guy. I would like to see him get a shot. Let him go somewhere else if we aren't going to use him.

He was a first round pick only because he and the FO agreed to choose him in the first round if Huestis agreed to a two way contract. Probably would have been a second round guy otherwise. That said I really don't see why they don't want to play him. I hope he gets some opportunity because it feels like we've been unfair so far.

He's one of the more perplexing situations on the team. None of us know what the **** is going on. We can play Semaj Christon and Kyle Singler...But not Huestis? But why hang on to him? Isn't Jerami Grant+Roberson enough in the way of offensively inept defensive athletic types? Why not give him some kind of chance?

We may never know.

Totally agree with you and it's almost inconceivable that Singler played before Huestis considering how atrocious he has been for a long time now. Just from the little I've seen from Huestis he definitely has a much higher upside than Grant or Roberson and his shooting form is technically solid. Hope he gets a chance.
