PF) Kyle Kuzma OR Nance apparently Randle will be off the bench?
SF) Brandon Ingram
SG) Jordan Clarkson OR Caruso
PG) Lonzo Ball

Key Reserves: Julius Randle, Larry Nance?, Andrew Bogut and who ever doesn't start ?

Injured players: KCP (DUI?LOL)

Clippers Starters:
C) Deandre Jordan
PF) Blake Griffin
SF) Wesley Johnson
SG) Patrick Beverley
PG) Juwan Evans?

Key Reserves: Lou Williams, Brice Johnson?, Tyrone Wallace???

I haven't been this excited about a Laker season opener in a very long time.
I'll be at the game cheering on the guys.

Beverly vs Lonzo is going to be interesting. That is a very tough first test for Lonzo. Beverly won't back down from anybody. He is one tough SOB.

I think it will come down to how well we control Griffin.
Also our second unit has to dominate theirs.

I expect an amazing home crowd. This game is going to be a joy to watch--just a fresh new look with real talent. Hopefully the Young Magician is healthy and ready to go. To be honest, I'm expecting a triple-double and a W to start this career off.

I also wonder if Lonzo is going to look more like summer league opener than the rest of his summer league. I do think he gets the nerves and off the injury I'm going to guess

This lineup doesn't surprise me if true. Luke likes keeping second unit squad in tact so that they can develop chemistry together. Before we just plumetted last year, this was how we stayed competitive -- through our bench play.

We tried to keep it close with the starters then put bench in to get us lead then go with mix of starters and benxh to close games depending on who was hot. That was Luke's MO. Deng being put in the starting role is a good sign actually. Which means when Pope gets back, Deng will be at the end of the rotation not getting minutes.

Serious lack of scoring power in that starting lineup. Also Lonzo is by default our best rebounder.

with Nance and Lopez blocking out (which they both do better than actually rebound) he should rack the RBDs up then..

InB4 our starting line up gets us into a hole and our Bench has to scramble and make a comeback - then again that seems to be every game?
