Watched couple games with Hawks. They are not so bad. Shroeder, good young bigs and other positive things. To take them for granted would be a huge mistake.
It's a must win game for Pacers , everybody needs to wash down the bitter taste in the mouth still lingering after catastrophe against Celtics two days ago.
Let's just get a W.

I'm looking forward to watching Taurean Prince that's a guy I'd like to have at SF. Also looking forward to seeing John Collins who was my pick on draft night.

Prince will be a solid player. Can shoot and defend, that skillset is very valuable.

The Myles Turner/Domantas Sabonis tandem is working very well tonight.

100% agreed. I'd love to have both of them on the team.

Don't understand why they aren't used in tandem more often. Seems like, of all people, Myles Turner would benefit the most from Sabonis being on the court.

Sabonis had 2 great games in a row, here's the reward - hit the bench. Come on coach, dude deserves to play. He rides Miles no matter how he and Sabonis plays.

This is the best defense I've seen the Pacers play in a while.

I truly believe the only reason Collins was passed on was because his agent is that rotten """" Aaron Mintz.

I like to see more of them together too but Thad is just too important in some match-ups. He is really our best defender against big wings (the Lebrons, Durants, Kawhis and PGs of the league). This isn't one of those match-ups unless the Hawks go small with Taurean Prince at PF.

What you said is just factually incorrect. Nate rides the hot hand. If Sabonis is playing well, he'll play. If Thad is playing well and he's crucial for a match-up, he'll play. If Myles is playing well, he'll play. The fact is that we just don't have enough minutes to play all of our bigs as many minutes they deserve. I really wish we could give 30 minutes to each one of them but right now this just isn't feasible.

Plus, Myles Turner is having a great game out there. You chose the wrong day to complain about him.

I agree, Sabonis and Turner playing together can't be at the detriment of Thad.

Honestly though, I still believe in a frontcourt lineup of Thad-Sabonis-Turner. With Turner and Thad developing relatively reliable outside shots, that kind of size in a lineup can give a lot of teams trouble and it keeps Thad on the court to guard the best wing. I haven't seen this lineup on the court yet this year, but I could be wrong.

I remember that Thad wasn't effective as a SF in the past and I'm not sure how this lineup would work offensively. Thad can make the 3 and keep the defenses honest as a PF but he isn't that good of a shooter (or a ball-handler/passer) for a SF.

But hey, we could give it a shot! I definitely think that it could work defensively and it would help us a lot on the boards. We probably would run a bit less than we currently do which would be worse for Dipo. Still, it's a possibility that we could explore.

I also want to see Thad at 3 not every game but as a big lineup. also Vic and GRob as a bigger backcourt.

Collins is a nice inside player but I still like Leaf's outside game.
