Gordon Hayward Not Ruling Out Return This Season

Post#1 » by RealGM Wiretap » Fri Mar 9, 2018 6:28 pm

Gordon Hayward has not ruled out a return this season but still has no timetable.

Hayward suffered a broken ankle on opening night in October.

Hayward said he's taking his rehab day-by-day.

"The recovery is going well. Haven't thought about (when I would return). Something I'm still working for," said Hayward.

Brad Stevens recently told the media that Hayward will not return this season.

Stevens said he is done - so I think he is done. Nice to see him optimistic but don't see him coming back UNLESS they go deep as in WCF or the finals. Even then he would be a little rusty. Get well soon my man.

Ya, he hasn't played for the whole season, doubt he'll help his team immediately in tough competition.

Thanks for the honesty.

With how the Celtics have kept insisting that he wouldn't be back this year, I knew this was coming. They'll bring him back out of desperation the moment they get down a couple games in a playoff series, just watch.

Stevens is right to play the team thinking Hayward is not coming back...otherwise it's giving false hope.

Don't bring him back. Not worth it. Next year will be a good year for the Celtics
