His deal wasn't much at all. That tells me we plan on using that money for something else obviously. 4 million for a veteran backup isn't much at all, and he wanted to be here.

Sucks for him unless someone picks him up for more. I'm guessing he also got annoying and many other teams will feel the same.

They have his bird rights. Im sure they are just trying to maximize room to chase RFAs.

There won't be much of a market for Lance so if Indy can't find use for their cap space chances are they'll just pick him back up on the cheap... Smart move.

Actually I don't think so. With a minute to digest it, Pritchard said this off-season goal was to get as much shooting on the team as he can. Lance didn't fit that, obviously.

Read immediately following this that Will Barton is the target.

If LBJ returns, the Cavs should pick him up. Assuming that they get back to the Finals, Lance is good for getting Draymond suspended for at least two games.

I don't see Tyreke Evans as a big upgrade for them tbh.
Not big enough to justify twice the money on a deal that's three times longer, anyway, and that's probably what it would take to sign him, at least.

I like Lance on Indy - he’s just pure entertainment - I really hope it’s just so they can get other players and then add him back w/ bird rights like it was said upthread.
