Surely an easy win for Croatia. (This from a man who has only managed to pick 1 out of 10 correct winners in this 3rd round og games)!!!
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

Just to remind that Denmark is unbeaten in 18 last games and allowed only one goal ( from quastionable penalty in last 6 games). K. Schmeichel is arguably the best keeper in the tournament so far. It won't be as easy for Croatia as some of you think. In fact I predict Denmark will repeat 1998 history when after slow start in the group they played 1st place Nigeria and slaughtered them 4-1. While I do not expect such score, 1-0 or 2-1 is very possible. Iceland showed Croatia's defence is suspect.. they just missed bunch of great chances.

Dude, Croatia played with 9 substitutes against Iceland and won.

Denmark is good but Croatia has the edge here. I actually think Croatia will reach semi-finals. I think they're the perfect antidote for Spanish team if they meet in quarter-finals. I still remember Croatia beating Spain in Euro 2016, while playing with their B line-up, just like versus Iceland.

Btw, if 1998. repeats, you must have in mind that Croatia finished 3rd there

Uruguay is not making it to the finals, lol. They'd need to get past France and Brazil. Croatia certainly have a chance though, although I don't think they'll get past Spain.

nothing is certain in football. and i did not depend on fifa rankings to make this prediction but actual strength of their gameplay in the group stages.

This has nothing to do with FIFA rankings. France and Brazil are just stacked at every position.

Uruguay also had an easy group stage (not that group stage performance means much).

I like Uruguay, but they're badly outclassed by France and Brazil.

Crotia has been one of the best teams this tournament. They will crush Denmark and go pretty darn far.

These are both small nations, Denmark with a population of 5.7 million and Croatia with a population of 4.3 million. Uruguay is even smaller with a population of 3.3 million.

So the main reason they've all made it this far is that each team have 1 or 2 star players and the rest are nothing special compared to the big powerhouse nations.

So maybe you don't have to have the deepest team to make it this far?

US just needs to develop a couple of players as good as Modric, Suarez or Cavani. :D

Purely based on names this side of the bracket looks like a walk in the park for top teams. On paper that is but damn, we got one of Colombia, England, Croatia, Russia, Denmark, Switzerland or Sweden in the finals of the World Cup.
