Farewell Kenneth Faried

Post#1 » by NuggetsWY » Fri Jul 13, 2018 1:00 pm

Your fans have appreciated your work ethic and hustle. Many still believe you were better than you were ever given credit for, especially on defense. You fit well on offense next to Jokic and made a difference in the Nuggets' offense even before Jokic, as you gobbled up offensive rebounds constantly.

Thank you! Respect to you!

True. It kinda pisses me off that Nuggets legend is traded just to save money. You might to disagree with "Nuggets legend" but in the end he is 13th all-time leader in blocks, 17th in points and 6th in rebounds. Wish him well at Brooklyn or everywhere else.

He is worth a contract which we sign with him, it is not his fault that we signed very next summer at his PF spot former all-star and get via trade one very talented and young PF. Manimal always has great chemistry with his teammates and with Nuggets fans, he has much more reasons to complain and to be unhappy than Mudiay, Nurkic, Iguodala, JRSmith... from near past, but he handled everything with great patience and dignity. Wish him all the best in Brooklyn, many NBA TOP10 Daily highlights, and another decent contract next summer.

I'm always going to be a fan of his, and I hope he finds a stable regime that doesn't constantly change what they're asking from him. I hope the Nets use him as a piece going forward so that he can revitalize his career... it would hurt me deeply if this is how it all ended for a pro that gave his 100% every night.

I think Nuggets fans will always love the Manimal. He was the fan favorite and lone bright in spot in some of the darkest years in recent Nuggets history. He deserves a ton of credit for staying professional and not going public with his unhappiness, despite watching Nurk do the opposite and have it pay off. I really hope Brooklyn gives him an opportunity to show that he can still play and earn himself another contract next summer.

Always liked Faried but really feel like he never tried devoloping that mid-range jumper, no one to blame but himself

Faried Instagram farewell message
kennethfaried35Dear #NuggetsNation,

Didn’t think I would be here as a rookie, but, my 7 years as a Denver Nugget has come to an end. I truly appreciate everyone who has crossed my path at the Nuggets organization. From 2011 when I was drafted as the 22nd pick in Newark, NJ till now. I want to thank the owners the GMs and my teammates who believed in from day one starting as a rookie, I have learned a lot throughout this journey and have become a better player and person because of all the trials I endured. So I thank you again Denver for everything you have taught me! Brooklyn I hope y’all are ready for my arrival. #Bismillah #Shukran #UNLEASHTHEMANIMAL #BrooklynWeGoHard #BrooklynStandUp #ImComingHome
