Any guesses on what the opening game starting lineup will be?

I've got:

Kemba
Lamb
Batum
MKG
Zeller

That's the lineup I'd want go with, but we have way too much frontcourt depth to stick MKG at the 4 full time. I'd guess MKG comes off the bench for Marvin.

Pictures on twitter of Day 1 of training camp. For some reason what was most weird to me was seeing Bismack Biyombo in a Hornets uniform in the Dean Dome.

This should be a interesting year. There’s some reasons to be optimistic.

Wonder if Kemba will breakout into a 25+PPG player now that we’re not running Clifford’s system of constantly wanting to feed bigs (circa Al to Dwight) in the paint.

Looking forward to Lamb SZN in a contract year.

Really expecting Monk to have a breakout year and average double figures. Likely will still struggle defensively.

Hoping Batum get pushed up to PF or turned into a 6th man that can fill multiple positions and still play 30 minutes.

Love MKG but I think I gave up on any expectations for him after he didn’t shoot 3s early last season. Miss me with the returning from shoulder injury excuse. Still want him to be a starter for defense only similar to people like Roberson, Mbah a Moute, and etc.

A unexpected surprise to have a breakout year is Frank and he’ll become our starting C if Cody let his injury proneness get the best of him.

I want Biz to somehow crack the rotation and be used when necessary down the stretch of games.

I saw clips of Cody shooting 3s yesterday and it's about damn time. I was also struck by how deep this team is. We could easily run a 12 player rotation if JB wants to. It's smart coaching from him to tell the team that playing time is up for grabs. It should be a really productive training camp.

Zellers been shooting, or trying to shoot 3s for years. Ill believe it when it starts happening in games.

Yeah Zeller shot 3s during his draft work out. Can’t hit crap during a game

Is it time for that annual MKG can finally hit a jumper video clip?

JB mentioned in an interview that they don't want to stunt Miles' development by throwing too much at him in the beginning. So they're focusing on him learning one position on offense at the moment, which JB said was small forward. Although when questioned further he said that he could see him playing small-ball 4 down the road.

He also said that he could envision all 14 guys on the roster playing during the season, not necessarily in the nightly rotation, but depending on matchups and how well guys are standing out in practice anyone could potentially play. That's may be training camp talk, but I think it's clear that unlike Clifford he is capable of and open to experimenting with lineups and playing time.

About the new faster offence. Wants to attack defence in first 8 seconds. Half second rule when receiving ball, make decision to pass etc. Going to shoot more 3s, offence will take time to work as players get used to it

Bonnell has written the same article 15 times now.
