NLDS Game 3: Crew at Rockies - 3:37 - MLBN

Critical game. Rockies fans will be pumped up in an elimination game. I expect both offenses to get untracked somewhat in the altitude. Miley vs. Marquez. Miley will be on a very short leash. I expect Peralta to be on deck although Junior will be ready to go as well.

Rain forecast in the afternoon with temps in the 50's. Potentially quite a bit of rain so it could be a long afternoon/evening. Love to go a couple of innings, have a 90 minute delay and burn Marquez. Arcia is 4-8 vs. Marquez, Cain is also 4-8 (need him to get going), Shaw 3-9, Granderson 3-6. Marquez had 9 K's in 4.2 innings in the tie breaker game but also gav eup 2 homers in 4.2 innings to the Dodgers. On the flip side Arenado is 5-13 vs. Miley, Desmond 4-22, Gonzalez 9-23, LeMahieu 6-19. Rockies will score some runs Sunday no doubt.

It's suppose to be cold on Monday night, low 40's, let's SWEEP and get rested until Friday.

If you get a lead in the middle of the game, no reason to hold back if you've got arms that can go after a day of rest. End it tomorrow and get everyone healthy over the week.

if brewers do get to NLCS, still a big if. would all of those games be night games? trying to re-work my schedule to watch them

Game times haven't been announced yet. Games 1, 3 and 6 there are no AL games so those would be at night. 2, 4, 5, 7 there are 2 games (if both series go to 5 and 7) so there's no telling when those would be.

Congrats to David Stearns and his wife. His wife gave birth to a child a couple days ago. What a whirlwind of a week for him and his family.

Miley's arsenal is probably the best fit for pitching at Coors Field. Doesn't mean he'll pitch well but the fastball, cutter, changeup with some curveballs mixed in is the type of stuff you want to use at Coors Field.

I hope it works. I just think being at home is already boost enough for their troubling offense that we shouldn't help them out by starting a lefty as well.

Miley has a decent track record at Coors, really good during his first few starts and then got killed in his last one in 2014.

Agree w Twirlz: Miley’s stuff is as tailor-made for Coors as anyone (other than Freddy) on the staff. I also agree w Blazza: Miley’s last 3 starts make me nervous.

Miley is GB pitcher, so i get the choice of him. I was checking out Freddy's splits earlier today- i had no idea his splits vs right'ys were so dominant. .111 BA vs right handed batters? i mean dang

Some people are suggesting taking the 7 day free trial of YouTube TV.

Also, if you know anyone that has MLB Network, borrow their password and you can stream live MLB Network programming on the mlb.tv app. To confuse you more, that particular form of streaming (not the mlb.tv variety) is supported only on certain platforms (mostly phones and tablets).

I think he could be tomorrow’s starter or go long today depending on how things play out.
