There only needs to be 4 preseason games. What more is there to practice, the NBA is different than the NFL. These guys have been learning the playbook and practicing ever since Borrego was named head coach.

I do not have to work tonight, so let's have some fun. I wish it were for real, already.

If this is our regular season starting lineup, they do not look very good: Walker, Lamb, Batum, Williams, Zeller.

Time to shake it up.

Cody is up against Deandre Jordan lol

and a preseason slow start is fine guys. If anything you gotta love how WHG is doing what we all wished Frank would do by going one on one against Deandre after a quick pass to the block

the fact that we can be so 3 heavy AND get our bigs good looks inside is a crazy example of how quick this offense has turned around under borrego

Monk has as many assists as the entire starting lineup--4.

I love the balance between units and within them. Kemba has Lamb and Nic for secondary offense. Parker really knows how to use Monk, Miles and Hernangomez. Monk is turning into an excellent combo guard. He is impacting the game by being a scoring threat and drawing defenders, not actually scoring. He's off. But there are multiple playmakers on both units. Parker + Monk or Kemba + Nic + Lamb. And the coach is really coaching up assists and team ball.

Doncic is the real deal. Cuban took a big risk giving up a 1st for him. He's their new Dirk.

I was saying it all summer, but Bacon's lack of an off-ball game is the biggest reason why he won't see more court time.

If Frank passes up that kind of shot he doesn't have any use.

Graham has looked good to me this entire preseason. I expect he won't see much time early in the year but I think long term he's going to be a solid pro.
