2 realistic options
Porter has a absurd Salary but he would bring the Scoring at the sf Spot...
Valentine could become the off the ball PG....he is no real PG of course but he can create....
Leuer gallo ellenson reggie Stanley ( i Really liked him but he will never be a Player here) One of bullock/kennard and a Pick
Some package of These
Drummond
Griffin
Potter
Bullock/kennard
Valentine
Bullock is not good right now but with this Line-Up we would have more flexibility and firepower..i think both Trades are really makeable

Meh ... what's that realistically going to do for us? Its not going to put us over the top or make us true contenders in the east.
I say a better option is to trade all for picks and start fresh, but then again who's gonna take these bums? I used to think Drummond might get us FRP in a trade but now the dude is the laughing stock of the NBA, so I doubt we can even get something good in return.

Blake is ironically our best asset if he keeps playing pretty solidly. He's in his prime and a desperate team that is looking to get over a hump might want him.
I'd take a pick or two to ship out Blake. Then sell Dre on his passing and vision from last year and try to get maybe a pick for him too.
Everyone else just ship out for anything.

No realistic trade would put us over the top..but we would be a much more balanced team...

Drummond for John Wall. That's a realistic trade in my opinion. I got a feeling Wall is gonna be traded for cheaper than that. He gets paid 40m after this year so his contract is toxic. He's like the new Gilbert Arenas. In my opinion he just needs a new scene. I'd trade Jackson Galloway and Leuer for Wall

But then Washington ends up with Drummond and Howard on the same team? And a hole at PG? Why?

Re: Otto Porter /denzel Valentine
I think it should be a rule that any thread suggesting a trade must be opened with "Why for Detroit?" and "Why for [opposing team]?" No inclusion of why the opposing team should make the trade and the thread gets immediately locked.
This is just getting silly.

So you'd be down to trade three very flawed players all on bad contracts for a perennial all star?
This trade should have happened yesterday.

John Wall is the reason Washington is losing right now. Him and Beal can't play together. He also has a horrible contract. I'd rather have our players if I was stuck with Wall. All star means nothing if he doesn't get you wins.

Wait, so you claim Wall is the reason why Washington is losing and "all star doesn't get you wins," yet you proposed a trade for him?
You also just dismissed your own idea from your previous post. First you said "I'd trade Jackson/Galloway/Leuer for Wall," now you say "I'd rather have our players if I was stuck with Wall." Your talking out of both sides of your mouth.
In the end its all moot anyways. Although Wall may have an unsavory contract he's still a good player and can be moved for a much better package than Jackson/Galloway/Leuer.
Good player on bad contract >>>>>> Bad players on bad contracts.
In addition I think fans put much more emphasis on contracts then teams actually do, especially for players that are actually good. Supposedly "untradeable" guys are traded all the time.
Hell just look at Timofey Mozgov, dude is a terrible player with an atrocious contract yet he's been traded 3 times in a year.

I see how you can mix that up. I believe Wall is a superstar talent, he just needs a new scene. He'll blow up for the the next team he plays for. If I had Wall like the Wizards have Wall now, I'd rather get Galloway leuer and jackson than to keep Wall cuz he's costing the wizards games. No matter how you look at it one of Wall Beal or Porter are getting traded and the most likely is Wall because they've succeeded without him in the past. I mean those contracts are our garbage. I'd give up Kennard SJ or Bullock. I don't care for any of them. Wall is the real deal. If we can keep Blake and Drummond then it's over.
