From MJ's Wizard Exit until the Present

Charlotte is 6-5. Kemba Walker, Tony Parker, and Malik Monk are the primary ball handlers. Miles Bridges is a good rookie and he's killing the rim with powerful dunks.

No more Hornets. Back to the name the original owner named them. Bob Johnson (BET) was their Abe Pollin/Ted Leonsis. Now, Michael Jordan is the guy.
Michael Jordan left DC in a huff after feuding with the late Abe Pollin.

He seems lo have landed on his feet nicely!!! :)

Most importantly for the Wizards: Ted Leonsis and Ernie Grunfeld, they got their own approach.

Between them and their agenda, the $35M man, Coach Scott Brooks, at least looks "more like them" than Coach Wittman or Coach Eddie Jordan.

The Bobcats or the Wizards? Who do you like?5

Just imagine the Wizards getting stuck with Kidd-Gilchrist..

I will say this though, there probably would have been a greater chance of the Wizards being renamed back to the Bullets under Jordan's stewardship, and there's no doubt about it, Jordan's goal was to take over as majority owner.

Also worth entertaining if Jordan's presence in DC could have lured Kobe in that alternate universe.

All that said, the Hornets aren't going anywhere, I'd take the Wizards over them and not think twice.
