union station to scotiabank arena

Post#1 » by Hipster Doofus » Tue Dec 18, 2018 8:05 pm

hey guys, sorry for the thread but i couldn't find the information anywhere else on the interwebs.

i'm going to the raptors-bulls game on dec. 30th, taking the go train to union station.

is there any way at all in the mystical intricacies that is the PATH system to go from union station to scotiabank arena through the tunnels (i.e. not going outside)?

thanks!

go down stairs to union station
look at sign for scotiabank
go through 2 doors
you're at the arena

they are connect, its not a tough one, they are right next to each other

The Scotiabank arena is connected to Union Station. There is a direct path from Union train station to Gate 1 of the Scotiabank arena.

They are connected just follow the signs. Once the Bay Concourse re-opens (if it ever does), union and scotiabank arena will be connected at the main lobby area of ScotiaBank Arena (via the "Ford Fun Zone")

This question is like you woke up in a chick's house after hooking up and you can't find the exit because you were drunk getting in.

Is it connected so that you don’t have to go outside? I always wind up at the front entrance outside. It’s a short 30 second walk outside but would rather avoid in January when it gets real cold

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

You might even be able to follow the crowd once you arrive at Union station.

From the Go Train platforms you don't if you're on the York concourse side. If you're on the Bay side it's covered overhead. From Union TTC you have to step outside for 30 ft.

Walked through the PATH last week for the first time ever.. All this time I thought it was just an empty path underground for people to get to work from union without going outside.. now I realized its pretty much a mall in there with so many stores/restaurants

if you've gone outside, you've gone too far.

It's definitely possible to go through Union without cutting outside through Bay St, but it's not exactly a friendly route for newcomers, especially if you're coming from the Subway, as you have to go through the Go/Via part of the station to reach the other Southern end. Since you're taking the Go, it's a lot simpler, and there are tons of signs to point you in the right direction.

I miss the Bay Concourse though, hasn't been the same since it shut down for construction years ago now.
