GAME DAY, BALA! GAME 39: SPURS VS. RAPTORS, 3-1-2019, 7PM (CT)

Here it is, our first game of 2019. Starting the year strong and continuing from where we left off with our improved overall team play - trusting our system, playing solid team D, working our transition game, generating good-to-great shot makes, protecting the ball - will serve us well. We'll need to play with focus, grit, and a high compete level for the whole game.

WHERE: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

WHEN: Thursday, January 3, 2019, 7pm (CT)

The energy in the stands at AT&T is going to be palpable; here's hoping the players feel it, too. Let's hope for a great game and a nice win for the good guys!

San Antonio fans deserve better than what Kawhi gave. Just once I want to see a game where instead of booing a former player, The fans turn their backs on that player every-time he gets the ball.

I really don't get the feeling people are going to hate that much. I for one, really don't care. I think the media cares about it way more than the fans do in general. The media are trying their hardest to turn this into a circus like usual, but I don't think the fans care all that much. This isn't LA, its San Antonio.
I care more about winning against a good team than anything else.

I’m at AT&T. I cannot overemphasize how loudly this crowd is razzing Leonard every time he does anything.

I love it; this is what sports is about.

They ended up showing the tribute video; it was a mixture of huge applause for Danny and huge boos for Leonard.

Spurs start hitting their threes, and this game should be over...

I expect some things from Siakam and D. Green in 2nd half, and Belinelli, Forbes, and Bertans as well.

DeRozan continues to impress with his rebounding consistency, I knew about his playmaking, and it coming out a bit more in Pop's offense.. but wow, been great for the Spurs.

Forbes has hit 2 threes to start the 3rd, matching his 1st half total... guy has developed into one of the most underrated shooters in the league.

Glad to see he basically proved me wrong and has shook out quite well.

Also Derrick White starting was needed and its happened!
