So will a division win tonight offset last nights loss or does a loss compound last nights debacle ?

As my daddy would have said, "I'm sure it will".

Denver is the only team still with a perfect division record, and I want it continues after today's game.

I don't know what is wrong with Denver this month in 1st halves. We are 2-6 in January at halftimes!? But the good news is that in all these games we played much better in the 2nd half, so our overall W/L record in January is 5-2, so let's hope we will turn another game in our favor today.

PHEW...too close for my liking, but a win is a win !! The_Joker is happy because we're still undefeated in the division.
Jokic really LEADS the way, Murray chips in supporting him. Not sure why people want to separate these two, seem like cornerstone pieces to me.

Seems pretty clear that Barton and Millsap are still rusty, perhaps even brought back too early (like Harris ?) so gonna take time to gel.
Wonder if Nurkic ever looks over at Jokic and realizes he's not even in the Joker's class and asks "What was I thinking ?"

6-0 vs NorthWest! This is how Jokic should play when he has a good day unlike most of the teammates. To take responsibility and more shots. He should take over 20 shots yesterday too when was obvious that most of the team are off. Murray was great today, and Beasley/Morris efficiency was once again amazing.

Craig still isn't taking shots.
Jokic & Murray carried the team.
Beasley's stat line would be fine for a 4th or 5th starter or 6th man and his defense is pretty good.
Morris & Plumlee did well off the bench.
Still not playing our best motion offense. Jokic had 8 assists but another stat that indicates players cutting to the hoop is FTs. We aren't getting many FTs (although the end of the game brought some). I'd expect around 25-30 FTs per game if we have guys cutting to the hoop and running the baseline.
Best thing about this game is one more that we fought through and found a way to win!

Jokic said he sensed during pregame warmups that the team was a little flat and he determined he should go out and play aggressively to help set the tone for his teammates.
“I thought during warmups we were kind of loose and not focused, so I tried to pick up the energy,” Jokic said.
Jokic finished a point off his career high. He added 10 rebounds and eight assists, just missing his sixth triple-double of the season.

I love the fight that Jokic and Murray showed.
It sure appears that Millsap and Juancho are both trying ot play through injuries, and Barton is still rusty. Although Barton was less selfish last night which is a good sign.
That pick and roll with Jokic and Plumlee was amazing.
Some here know that I have a soft spot for Nurkic, and it is good seeing him finally figure out how to finish instead of those stupid finger rolls and half assed lay ups.
Craig needs his minutes cut when Harris comes back, Beasley is better on both ends outside of against Westbrook and deserves all the minutes he can get.
Anybody realizing how dumb it was to talk about trading Murray a month ago? He has started slow his last 3 seasons and in college, but he fits great with what we are trying to do and as he and Jokic build more chemistry it will be amazing to see what they can become long term.
The most amazing thing about Jokic last night was that he only took 8 free throws, usually when certain guys put up stat lines like he did last night they are on the line 12+ times. Jokic dominated the entire 2nd half and made the Trailblazers bigs (outside of Nurkic who was okay) look like Dleaguer.
