I keep saying it, Adams/21 makes SOOO much sense for us. I get hes not the best fit, but hes probably the most talented center (available) and brings a lot of what we need.

Getting 21 is the cherry on top. Love to give Vlade another 1st in the 20 range. Maybe he can find another Giles?

Another positive for the Adams trade is that he's only 25 years old which I didn't realize. He fits the age arc of our team while adding a lot of toughness and experience that is difficult to find on the younger end. I agree with people here that he may not be the ideal fit, but I'm not sure there really is a realistic ideal fit outside of Dedmon and it's pretty risky to forego Adams for a player that we may not be able to sign. If Adams/21 is in play for a second rounder and a non-core player, I think you have to pull the trigger.

I wouldn’t mind taking in Adams for the 21 pick.

Adams is a plus player at the C.

I'd bet teams are trying to unload salary on Vlade in that range. Adams would be a good get but I'm sure it's total crap deals he's looking at. If Bol Bol or Langford are in that range it's worth a shot.

I think the offer would be Steven Adams and Dennis Schroder + 21st pick. That is 40M in payroll for two years - we could absorb that.

Knowing Vlade, he will negotiate something better like Steven Adams and Andre Roberson + 21st pick. That would fix our hole at SF, C + 21 pick and all just for cap space. Add to that we have 3 second round draft and stash players - we would be in terrific shape.

It would be brilliant.

That is approximately $35m+ the Kings would be absorbing.

I like Roberson but he's been out for a year already. The Kings are taking a risk in hopes of him bouncing back to his old self.

That being said, it isn't a terrible plan but it won't be my first or second choice of plan either.

I feel like OKC would ask for at least Beli in return. Maybe Yogi if they wanted a cheaper option. I couldn't see them giving that all away for free.

What do you think the odds are we trade one of our seconds for cash?

47 is probable. 60 obviously wouldn't be worth food stamps.

The 40 was for Adams and Schroder :D

The risk is only could they use the cap space better in the FA period - I think.

In this case they don't have any leverage... there are few teams that could actually absorb those contracts.

I don’t trust this ownership to spend yet, so we will see. I hope not the first two picks. But there is something fishy about the quality of who came by (by in large). But then again, if they plan large contracts in FA, might need these to cheaply fill out roster

I hope not. In a year we don’t have a first I’d like to get excited by a couple of 2nd round kids

I’d rather have two picks in our range than one in the early 20s personally, so all good for me. Not sure dumping Adams with 21 was reported correctly or in the cards at all..

Let's hope Claxton falls to us at 40. He would be a really solid get for us there.

He reminds me too much of Mikki Moore. No thanks.

Edit that, so we only have the 39 to go and if Bol Bol is there Vlade takes him right?

I'd rather have Jontay than Bol but not sure how I'll feel about it if it ends up happening.
